The community Lessons and Carols Choir rehearsals begin at 4:30 pm, and will last about 45 minutes.  We meet weekly, except for the Wednesday (the day before) prior to Thanksgiving.  The choir is open to everyone in the community who loves to sing beautiful Advent and Christmas music, set to a series of readings that are read by local clergy and lay readers from different churches in Williams and the vicinity.

You do not need to read music if you have the ability to learn and memorize your parts.  We do sing in 4 parts: soprano, alto, tenor and bass.  Beth LaGro, the accompanist and organizer for this service, is always happy to work privately with anyone who needs assistance learning their part.

We understand that no one is going to be able to make it to every weekly rehearsal, but we do expect you to make it to most of the rehearsals.

Shaula Watson will be directing the choir for the second time this year.

The Lessons and Carols service will be held on December 7th at 3:30 pm at St. John’s.
