Jesus put before the crowds another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

Sunday Worship Service, July 19, 2020

The kingdom of heaven may be compared to someone who sowed good seed in his field; but while everybody was asleep, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and then went away. – Matthew 13

On Sunday, July 19th, we will again have worship service in person at the church, and also offer a video recording of the service on our Facebook page.  We continue to offer both services so that those who cannot join us in person are still able to worship “with us.”  All are invited to either – or both – services.  The service sheet (hymns, liturgy, readings and prayers) is available at the link below.  Pastor Cheryl Fox will be leading us in worship both in person and via the recording.

We would like to remind everyone to please continue to support St. John’s as they are able by using this link and following the online instructions, or by sending your check to the church to the attention of the Treasurer.  The needs of the church continue during this pandemic, and we thank you for remembering St. John’s during this difficult time.
