The dates for May BINGO are Thursday May 10 and May 24. BINGO is played in Walker Hall at St. John’s Church and is a co-sponsored by St. John’s and the William Broehm VFW Post 12128 in Williams, AZ. Doors will open for the purchase of daubers and game cards at 4:30 pm and the first game starts at 5:30 pm. The last game ends at about 7:30 pm. The Rev. Dr. Lowell G. Almen, Bishop of the Grand Canyon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America will be visiting and preaching at St. John’s on April 22, 2018. You can meet with him at a forum at 9:15 am. There will be a worship service 1t 10:30 am, followed by a potluck luncheon at noon. Continue reading

Holy Week 2018 begins with our Palm Sunday service on March 25th at 10:30 pm. The week will continue with several events and services. On Wednesday, March 28th, there will be Stations of the Cross at 5 pm in the sanctuary. On Maundy Thursday, March 29th at 7 pm, there will be a Maundy Thursday service in the Sanctuary. On Good Friday, there will be a service at 12 noon, followed by a vigil from 12:30-3:00 pm. You may come to the service and part of the vigil or just come for part of the vigil. On Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter Breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by our Easter Service at 10:30 pm.
NOTE: The Seder meal that had been scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 pm has been canceled.
