St. John’s Attends ELCA Grand Canyon Synod Meeting
This past week (June 13-14), Pastor Mary Piotrowski and Ms. Deb Noel attended the annual assembly of the ELCA Grand Canyon Synod in Tucson, Arizona, representing St. John’s. June 2018 BINGO nights have been announced: June 14 and June 28 (2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month). BINGO is open to the entire community and area, and visitors to Williams are welcome to join the fun and great eats coming out of the kitchen, too! Lutheran Bishop to Visit St. John’s on April 22, 2018
The Rev. Dr. Lowell G. Almen, Bishop of the Grand Canyon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America will be visiting and preaching at St. John’s on April 22, 2018. Holy Week 2018
Holy Week 2018 begins with our Palm Sunday service on March 25th at 10:30 pm. The week will continue with several events and services. On Wednesday, March 28th, there will be Stations of the Cross at 5 pm in the sanctuary. On Maundy Thursday, March 29th at 7 pm, there will be a Maundy Thursday service in the Sanctuary. On Good Friday, there will be a service at 12 noon, followed by a vigil from 12:30-3:00 pm. You may come to the service and part of the vigil or just come for part of the vigil. On Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter Breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by our Easter Service at 10:30 pm.
NOTE: The Seder meal that had been scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 pm has been canceled.
