Over the past week, several members of St. John’s did the heavy labor of removing several truck loads of old pea gravel, weeds, and old broken down black garden cloth located around the church building.  They then replaced the cloth with much heavier duty black cloth, and then spread out brand new gravel on top of it.  Now the area just showcases our beautiful Fall mums and our gorgeous red maple tree!

Thank you’s go to Deb, Cheryl, Kris, Cesareo, Mike, Tora, Brenda and Kathy who did the shoveling and backbreaking work.  The upgrade in materials will keep the area looking lovely this next year, and any weeds that decide to try to grow will be easily yanked!
