We had a great time meeting our Lutheran Synod Bishop, the Rev. Dr. Lowell Almen, this past Sunday.  We greatly enjoyed his class on the ecumenical movement of the ELCA with The Episcopal Church along with other protestant churches in the USA over the past 30 or so years.  He delivered the sermon as well as led our worship service. And then we all got to relax and visit with him, and his wife, Sally, at one of our amazing potluck dinners!

We truly enjoyed this special visit!
