After our worship service (10:30 AM – 11;30 AM), we will gather in Walker Hall to do a project for the community.  We will be making platters of homemade treats to take to our first responders in the area (police, fire, air and ambulance rescue).  All are welcome to participate in doing God’s Work on this special day, which is a part of the ELCA.  St. John’s is one of 8,300 congregations participating in this special work Sunday.  Our worship service will also reflect this special Sunday by incorporating special music, prayer and readings.
