As he was now approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, saying, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!” –Luke 19
Please join us this Sunday for our Palm Sunday service, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. in our Walker Hall with the Liturgy of the Palms. From there, everyone will process into the sanctuary at St. John’s with palm leaves as we sing All Glory, Laud and Honor. The remaining portion of the service will be in the sanctuary. The service will be led by Fr. Philip Shaw and Deacon Dale Gallup.
We invite everyone to this important service in the Christian year, as we end Lent, and begin Holy Week. We will have several services during Holy Week that are all listed on our Events Calendar. You are welcome to come to any or all of these services. We are an affirming church that welcomes everyone. No matter what your background may be, no matter where you are on your faith journey, etc., you are welcome here. And if you are a visitor to historic Williams and the region, please know that you are invited as well.
After the service, please stay for coffee and iced/hot tea and treats. Come and get to know us better.
