Sunday Church Service for July 31, 2022

treasure chest

But God said to him, `You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So it is with those who store up treasures for themselves but are not rich toward God.” — Luke 12

Please join us this Sunday for our in-person worship service at 10:30 a.m. in Williams, AZ.  There will be no video service this week, as Pastor Cheryl Fox is on vacation.  Our guest this Sunday will be The Rev JoAnn Leach, who is a retired Episcopal priest.  We are delighted to have her with us again this week.  We will be celebrating the Eucharist/Holy Communion during the service, and all are welcome to participate in this sacrament.

Masking is not required at St. John’s, even though the Covid levels are currently high in the county.  We do ask that if you have any cold-like symptoms that you wear a mask, and if you are not vaccinated and boostered that you also wear a mask.  We ask this out of respect and love for one another.

After our service you are invited to stay and join us in Walker Hall for conversation and refreshments.

St. John’s welcomes all to join in worship with us.  We are an open and affirming church to all who seek Christ in their life.
