Our Church Services for June 27, 2021

Weeping may spend the night, but joy comes in the morning. — Psalm 30:6

Welcome to St. John’s!  On June 27th we invite you to join us for our in-person worship service with Eucharist at 10:30 a.m.  If you are unable to join us in our sanctuary, please visit our Facebook page where you can view and participate at home in a pre-recorded video service with Pastor Cheryl Fox for the same day.  We leave the services on our Facebook page, however,  so you can view them at any time.  The service’s bulletin is attached below as a PDF file.  You can use this to follow along and to read responsively with the Pastor, and for home study and prayer.

For those who are joining us for in-person worship, we still practice some social distancing, and only ask that those who are not completely vaccinated to please wear a mask inside the church.  If you are vaccinated, and would like to continue to wear a mask indoors, that’s just fine with us.  We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.  We are singing again and also will celebrate Holy Communion during the service.

St. John’s is an open and welcoming church for all.

Adam Eve Eden

The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent tricked me, and I ate.” Genesis 3

We continue this week to have an in-person service at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s and also a video service posted on our Facebook page by Sunday morning for those unable to join us in the sanctuary.  Both services are led by Pastor Cheryl Fox. Below you will find the bulletin for the video service so that you can follow along. It can also be used for personal meditation and study at home, or wherever you happen to be.

If you can join us on Sunday mornings, we ask that if you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 that you wear a mask inside the church building.  If you are fully vaccinated, you may choose to wear a mask or not.  We do practice social distancing within our seating in the pews, but we are all singing! And communion is a part of our in-person service.

We welcome all visitors to Williams and invite you to join us.  We also invite all in the area who are looking for a church home, to visit and get to know us.  We want to get to know you as well!
