Worship Service, First Sunday in Advent, December 1, 2024

“There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on the earth distress among nations confused by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will faint from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in a cloud’ with power and great glory. –Luke 21

Please join us this Sunday as we begin a new church year, and the Season of Advent.  Our weekly worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Philip Shaw leading us in worship.  We will have Holy Communion/The Eucharist as part of our service.  All are welcome at St. John’s and at the Lord’s Table … and we do mean all.

St. John’s is a historic part of Williams, Arizona and is an affirming church located in the center of the city, one block south of Historic Route 66.  We invite you to explore our website to learn more about us, and to join us for a service and get to know us better.

After our service, please stay for our coffee hour time, which also incorporates lovely homemade treats by our excellent bakers and good strong coffee.
