When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. — Acts 2
Won’t you join us this Sunday as we celebrate Pentecost? The church has been readied as you can see, and it is always a beautiful sight to see the sanctuary prepared for this special day. Fr. Philip Shaw will lead the service at 10:30 a.m. The service is about an hour in length. We will have Holy Communion as part of the service, and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table at St. John’s.
St. John’s is a welcoming church to all, and we are an affirming church. Please learn more about us by taking a few minutes to explore our website. Come and worship with us and then be sure to stay for coffee and treats afterward in Walker Hall, our fellowship hall.
We especially welcome the many visitors to Williams this weekend for the annual car show, and all the visitors to the national parks and monuments in the region.
We hope to see you this Sunday!
