You are invited to join us for our weekly worship service this Sunday at 10:30 AM.  This week we celebrate The Presentation of Our Lord in the temple in Jerusalem, which is celebrated 40 days after Christmas.  It is also known as Candlemas, the Feast of the Purification of the Virgin, and the Meeting of the Lord. Our service will be led by Fr. PhilipShaw, and it includes the Holy Eucharist /Communion.  All are welcome at St. John’s and at the Lord’s Table.

Our service this week also officially begins our Annual meeting of the church.  After the service everyone is invited to stay for the pot luck luncheon.  As we begin our desserts, we will begin the review portion of the meeting during which we will discuss and vote on a proposed budget, members of the Bishop’s Committee, hear annual reports, and discuss the work (programs, events, and projects) of the church during the coming year.  Everyone who is a member and/or friend of St. John’s is encouraged to attend and provide thoughts, concerns, and suggestions for the coming year.  Everyone’s input is important!!
