Worship Service January 12, 2025, First Sunday after the Epiphany

Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.” — Luke 3

This week we remember the Baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist in the River Jordan.  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m., and all are invited and welcome!  The service will be led by Fr. Philip Shaw and assisted by Deacon Dale Gallup.

St. John’s is an affirming and welcoming church located in the heart of historic Williams, Arizona.  The Holy Eucharist/Communion is a part of our service, and ALL are welcome at the Lord’s Table.  You are also invited to stay for our coffee hour after the service where we serve up treats and coffee, tea and iced water along with hearty conversation.  Please join us this Sunday!
