This Sunday, October 5th, St. John’s will celebrate the final day of this year’s Season of Creation with a joint service with the Williams Community United Methodist Church.  The service will be held at their church at 127  W. Sherman Ave. (corner of Second Street and Sherman Ave.) in Williams at 10:00 a.m.  Fr. Phil Shaw will lead the service for the two congregations.  And the Handbell Choir will be playing.Please join us for this special ecumenical service.  All are welcome.

After the service, at Noon, the Blessing of the Animals/Pets will occur at St. John’s outside under the maple tree on Grant Ave.  Everyone in the community is encouraged to bring their pet(s) for a special blessing.  Welcome are birds to lizards to goldfish to kitties and dogs to large animals, too.  Please kindly have your dogs on leash and small animals should be in a carrier or appropriate safe container.  The Blessings will be given from noon to 1 PM.
