This year (2021) for Ash Wednesday we will meet online on our Facebook page with a recorded video service with our Pastor, the Rev. Cheryl Fox.  We will not meet in-person at the church this year.  The video will be posted by Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021. Continue reading

Sunday’s Service, December 27, 2020 – First Sunday After Christmas

This Sunday, December 27, 2020, we will again be meeting together online on our Facebook page for our weekly service.  Pastor Fox will lead us in online worship for the next several weeks as the COVID numbers are rising in Williams, and to keep everyone safe while worshipping, we will not be meeting in the sanctuary.  Below is the service bulletin.  You can click on the link and have this window open as you follow with the video, or you can print it out and have it along side you during the video service.  The video is recorded so that you can watch it at any time that is convenient for you, or if you wish to watch it again.

Christmas Eve Service 2020

We will celebrate Christmas with a service at 7:00 pm on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020, with pre-service Christmas music beginning at 6:45 pm. Masks are required and we will practice physically distancing to protect each other.

We wish to let you know, also, that our vicar along with the Bishops’ Committee have decided to pause our in-person worship after the Christmas Eve service. Both of our bishops have requested that we not worship in person. The Williams area has at least 268 cases, according to the Coconino County website as of December 23, 2020. Case numbers continue to rise, and will probably not turn around until vaccinations are widespread, which could be months. It seems unadvisable to continue meeting, even with masks and precautions.
With our new Senior Warden, Deb Noel, we are planning to gather once a month outside for service and conversation. The first gathering will be at the end of January, for a service and our annual meeting. Pastor Fox will continue the Thursday morning Bible Study as long as there is interest, as we are able to meet in a large room and distance from each other. We also will try to establish a couple of days/times where folks can walk together outside to connect.
Below is the Bulletin for the Christmas Eve Service, which will also be available as a video recording on our Facebook page.
