This week is called Transfiguration Sunday because of our reading from the Gospel during our worship service.  Come hear the Gospel story along with the other scripture readings at 10:30 a.m. All are invited and all are welcome.  Our service will be led by Fr. Phil Shaw and Deacon Dale Gallup. The service is followed by a time of fellowship in Walker Hall with beverages and treats. Continue reading →

Get ready to sink your taste buds into some delicious pancakes, sausage, and a wide variety of toppings for those pancakes this Tuesday, February 13th, from 5 to 7 PM at St. John’s.  Shrove Tuesday is also known as Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras!  Also included are a variety of beverages.  Free-will offering for the dinner (no set price for dinner). February 25th is the date for the annual Fat Tuesday/Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner at St. John’s.  The pancakes start to be served at 5 pm and we will keep serving until 7 pm. Along with pancakes we will have sausage, syrups (maple, fruit and chocolate), fruit to top your pancakes, and whipped cream.  Continue reading →

It’s time again for our annual Pancake Dinner at St. John’s. Everyone, of all ages, in the Williams Community is invited to come on March 5th.  We will be serving, besides the pancakes, sausages, fresh fruit, syrups, and beverages.  There will be a free-will offering for the pancake dinner.  We will start serving those delicious pancakes at 5 pm and end at 7 pm.  Continue reading →

Lent begins on February 14th, so we will be hosting a traditional Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner for the Williams community on the 13th.  The dinner will begin at 5 pm and go until 7 pm.  St. John’s will be serving — along with the pancakes — butter, syrup, sausages and beverages.  There will be a free-will offering for the dinner.   Continue reading →
