We welcome you to St. John’s and invite you to join us for our weekly worship service on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.  Our service this week will be led by Fr. Philip Shaw and our Reader is Kris Vazquez.  Our weekly service includes Holy Communion and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table at St. John’s.  Over this busy Labor Day Weekend, we hope you will take time to remember all of God’s gifts to us and give thanks.

This Sunday our lectionary is full of stories and instructions for us today.  We will hear more about Moses, the important instructions of Paul to the Romans, and Jesus’s words to his Disciples.  Please join us at 10:30 a.m. for our weekly service to hear these readings and also to hear special music this week.  Our service will be led by Fr. Grand Canyon Synod (ELCA) Bishop Deborah K. Hutterer

This Sunday, Bishop Hutterer will be joining us for our 10:30 a.m. service.  She will offer the sermon and participate in the service with Fr. Phil Shaw, St. John’s vicar.  Bishop Hutterer is the Bishop for the Grand Canyon Synod of the ELCA, which covers Arizona, Utah and Nevada.  All are invited and welcome to this special service at St. John’s.
