Then he said to them, “Whose head is this and whose title?” They answered, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s.” Matthew 22

Please join us this Sunday for our weekly worship service at St. John’s.  All are invited and all are welcome!  Our service will be led by Fr. Phil Shaw and our reader this week is Tora Moody.  Holy Communion is a weekly part of our service, and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table.

While the weather has been a bit cold, windy and wet recently, it is warm and cozy inside St. John’s and there will be hot coffee waiting for you!  And there will be members of St. John’s to greet you and make you feel welcome.

St. John’s is an affirming church located in the heart of historic Williams, Arizona.  Our service combines the traditions of both the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) and the Episcopal Church.  Our members at St. John’s come from many different faith traditions, and all feel at home and welcome.  We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our fascinating history and our projects.

If you are not able to join us this Sunday, the following link provides you with the Prayer of the Day and the four scripture readings that will be a part of our service.  Proper-24A-Track-1 (PDF)

We look forward to meeting you this Sunday!
