Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain, by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became dazzling white. — Matthew 17
This week is called Transfiguration Sunday because of our reading from the Gospel during our worship service. Come hear the Gospel story along with the other scripture readings at 10:30 a.m. All are invited and all are welcome. Our service will be led by Fr. Phil Shaw and Deacon Dale Gallup. The service is followed by a time of fellowship in Walker Hall with beverages and treats.
St. John’s is an affirming church located in the heart of historic Williams, one block south of Historic Route 66.
