For you are my hope, O Lord God, my confidence since I was young. – Psalm 71:5
You are invited to join us for our weekly church service this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s. Fr. Philip Shaw and Deacon Dale Gallup will lead our worship service this week. Each week we celebrate Holy Communion as a part of our service, and we welcome all to the Lord’s Table.
St. John’s is a welcoming and an affirming church in the historic community of Williams, Arizona. We extend a special welcome to all who may be visiting Williams as part of a vacation to the Grand Canyon National Park, Historic Route 66, and the other amazing monuments and national parks close to Williams. We also extend an invitation and welcome to all those who are seeking a new home church. We welcome those from all faith backgrounds and those who may just be beginning their spiritual journey. It is our hope that all will feel welcome and cared for by our congregation.
After the service we will have a coffee hour with homemade treats in our fellowship hall. We will also be packing up new Hope Kits for the Senior Center with Deacon Dale during the coffee hour time. We especially need pouches of tuna or chicken, small deodorants, shampoo, and soap or body wash. If you can donate a couple of these items, please bring them with you on Sunday.
If you cannot attend the service, you may wish to open this file. It contains the Scripture Readings and Collect (Prayer) for August 24, 2025 – Proper-16C1 (PDF)
