Worship Services for August 27, 2023

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. – Romans 12

You are invited and welcome to join us this coming Sunday for our 10:30 a.m. service at St. John’s.  If you are not able to join us in person, please join Pastor Fox with her weekly recorded video service on our Facebook page.  The complete text of that service (minus the sermon) is in the file below, including scripture readings and prayers.

St. John’s is an affirming church located in downtown Williams (one block south of Historic Route 66).  We honor both our Episcopal and Lutheran (ELCA) heritages throughout our service.  Holy Communion/the Eucharist, is celebrated each Sunday, and all are invited to participate in this Sacrament.  If you rather only receive a blessing, you may come forward with your arms crossed across your chest and receive a blessing.  Children may also come forward and receive a blessing from Pastor Fox.

This Sunday our choir will be singing a beautiful hymn, Soli Deo Gloria.

After the service, please stay for our coffee hour where we continue our fellowship with each other with beverages, treats, and lively conversations on just about every topic imaginable!

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!!
