“Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.” — Matthew 10:39

You are cordially invited to join us at our 10:30 a.m. service at St. John’s this coming Sunday, or on our Facebook page with a video service (a link below contains the full-text of the video service, including the scripture lessons for the day).  Both services are led by our vicar, the Rev. Cheryl Fox.

St. John’s is a welcoming and affirming church in both the ELCA and Episcopal church traditions.  We welcome everyone to participate in Holy Communion/the Eucharist, which is offered every Sunday during the service.  We honor several backgrounds and traditions during communion.  We receive the bread, and we offer the one cup.  For Episcopalians, we also offer intinction of the wafer in the cup. As is a custom for Lutherans, we offer small glasses of wine. We also offer small glasses of grape juice for those who do not want wine.  For children and for those who may only wish to receive a blessing from Rev. Fox, you may come forward, cross your hands across your chest, and you will receive a blessing.

After the service, we invite you to our coffee hour where wonderful treats are shared along with fellowship and lively conversation.

Please feel free to message us at the bottom of this page if you have any questions.
