Holy Week 2018

Holy Week 2018 begins with our Palm Sunday service on March 25th at 10:30 pm.  The week will continue with several events and services.  On Wednesday, March 28th, there will be Stations of the Cross at 5 pm in the sanctuary.  On Maundy Thursday, March 29th at 7 pm, there will be a Maundy Thursday service in the Sanctuary.  On Good Friday, there will be a service at 12 noon, followed by a vigil from 12:30-3:00 pm. You may come to the service and part of the vigil or just come for part of the vigil.  On Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter Breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by our Easter Service at 10:30 pm.

NOTE: The Seder meal that had been scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 pm has been canceled.

We look forward to your joining us for one or all of these special events and services as we celebrate this most holy of seasons.

Pancake Dinner on February 13th

Lent begins on February 14th, so we will be hosting a traditional Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner for the Williams community on the 13th.  The dinner will begin at 5 pm and go until 7 pm.  St. John’s will be serving — along with the pancakes — butter, syrup, sausages and beverages.  There will be a free-will offering for the dinner.   Continue reading

The Gospel of John – New Bible Study Begins February 4th

St. John’s Episcopal-Lutheran Church encourages all members to attend its annual meeting and pot luck this coming Sunday, January 28, 2018.  The pot luck lunch will begin at around noon, with the meeting starting shortly thereafter.  Budget plans and event planning for the year will be discussed.
