Services for the First Sunday in Lent, February 26, 2023


The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” But he answered, “It is written, ‘One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” — Matthew 4

You are invited to join us this Sunday, the first Sunday in the Lenten Season, February 26th.  The in-person service at 10:30 AM at St. John’s in Williams has been canceled due to the impending snow storm. We have a video recording of the same service and it is posted on our Facebook page.  The full-text of the video service is provided in the link below. This week we will only have our video service, which will be posted on our Facebook page, and the full-text of that service is the PDF link below.  Due to a snowstorm warning that is in effect for the entire high country northern region of Arizona, we would like everyone to stay safely at home if possible, and watch the service on our Facebook page, led by Pastor Fox.

We will hope to meet in person next Sunday, on the 22nd, with our full service at 10:30 a.m., but will again provide a video service for those unable to attend in person. In the meantime, we hope that you will all remain safe, warm, and out of harm’s way during this snow event.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We are canceling church service tomorrow at 10:30 AM, but the video service is now on our Facebook page.  We ask that if you must travel on the 1st, you do so with great caution as we are expecting dangerous travel conditions starting at 5:00 AM January 1, 2023 through Monday morning, January 2nd.

Services for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2022

You are invited to join us for our multiple Christmas services.  On Christmas Eve we will gather at 4:45 pm for pre-service Christmas music and the service will begin at 5:00 pm.  This is a candelight service and it will also offer Holy Communion for all attending. Continue reading
