Our Church Services for August 1, 2021

Join us this coming Sunday, August 1st, for in-person worship and communion at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s, or on our Facebook page for our online video service for those  unable to attend.

We invite you to be a part of St. John’s – we are an open and welcoming church to all!  We extend a welcome to all the visitors who come to Williams, Arizona to not only experience Historic Route 66 but also the Grand Canyon National Park and the many wonders and beauty of this area.

Due to rising infection rates of COVID-19, we continue to ask that if you are not vaccinated that you please wear a mask inside the church.

Below is the video service’s bulletin. You may click on the link and download the file, print it, or just keep it open during the video service to follow along.  You may also use the bulletin to study and reflect on the scripture readings for this week, and also use the prayers at home.

Our Church Services for July 25, 2021

Please join us for our in-person service at St. John’s at 10:30 a.m., or you can join others online and view a recorded video service on our Facebook page on Sunday morning (or anytime after that as we keep the video up on our page).  Both services are led by the Rev. Cheryl Fox.

Everyone is welcome at St John’s.  If you are visiting Williams and the Grand Canyon, please feel invited to join us!

Below you will find the service bulletin for the video service on Facebook.  It can also be used for personal study and reflection. It contains all the scripture readings and prayers for this Sunday’s service. The video service on Facebook will additionally have Rev. Fox’s sermon and music.

We ask that if you join us at church on Sunday, that if you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask.  With the Delta COVID-19 variant  creating concerns, feel free to wear a mask even if you are vaccinated.

We ask that those who are not vaccinated wear a mask inside the church per guidance from our Diocese.  Those who are completely vaccinated against COVID-19 may elect to wear, or not wear, a mask depending on your personal situation.

All are welcome at St. John’s.  We are welcoming and open church.

Our Church Services for June 27, 2021

Weeping may spend the night, but joy comes in the morning. — Psalm 30:6

Welcome to St. John’s!  On June 27th we invite you to join us for our in-person worship service with Eucharist at 10:30 a.m.  If you are unable to join us in our sanctuary, please visit our Facebook page where you can view and participate at home in a pre-recorded video service with Pastor Cheryl Fox for the same day.  We leave the services on our Facebook page, however,  so you can view them at any time.  The service’s bulletin is attached below as a PDF file.  You can use this to follow along and to read responsively with the Pastor, and for home study and prayer.

For those who are joining us for in-person worship, we still practice some social distancing, and only ask that those who are not completely vaccinated to please wear a mask inside the church.  If you are vaccinated, and would like to continue to wear a mask indoors, that’s just fine with us.  We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.  We are singing again and also will celebrate Holy Communion during the service.

St. John’s is an open and welcoming church for all.

On this Father’s Day, please join us for one of our two services.  We will meet in-person at St. John’s at 10:30 a.m. for our traditional service with singing, the choir, and the Eucharist (Holy Communion).  We ask that those who are not been vaccinated against COVID-19 to please wear a mask inside the church, and those who are fully vaccinated may elect to not wear a mask.  Continue reading
