You are invited to join us this Sunday for a special service at St. John’s at 10:30 a.m.  We are holding a joint service with the Williams Community United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Taniel Tupou will be giving the sermon and  will be joining Deacon Dale Gallup to lead our worship service.  We will also have the Ringmasters Handbell Choir playing three Thanksgiving hymns for our anthem. You are invited to join us this coming Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 10:30 AM for our weekly service.  This week will celebrate All Saints Day along with Dia de los Muertos.  We ask that you bring and share photos of departed loved ones on a special table that we will have set up as you enter the sanctuary.  After the service we will have special foods as part of our coffee hour. Thrivent Grant Received

St. John’s was the recent recipient of a Thrivent Grant!  We were thrilled to receive this grant that was submitted by Michael and Melanie Bradle.  The use of the grant money was coordinated with the assistance of Deacon Dale Gallup, and Deb Noel and Kris Vasquez who worked with the local high school counselor  and did the actual purchases.  With the counselor’s advise it was determined that the funds would be spent on hygiene products often needed by young women and for teachers in their Continue reading

Worship Service for October 26, 2025 – Reformation Sunday

“Pray like it all depends on God, then when you are done, go work like it all depends on you.” — Martin Luther

This Sunday we celebrate the Reformation.  Martin Luther, who was a German teacher and a monk, brought about the Protestant Reformation when he challenged the Catholic Church’s teachings starting in October 1517 when he posted his famous 95 Theses.  We will learn more about Martin Luther during our service, and we will also celebrate with special music.  Our service begins at 10:30 a.m. and is followed by our reception in Walker Hall with coffee, tea and treats.
