Palm Sunday – March 29 – Eucharistic service at 10:30 AM begins with a distribution of palms. The service begins in Walker Hall and will process into the sanctuary.
Monday in Holy Week – March 30 – Eucharistic service at noon
Wednesday in Holy Week – April 1 – Eucharistic service at noon
Maundy Thursday – April 2 – Eucharistic service at Noon
Maundy Thursday – April 2 – Eucharistic service at 5 PM
Good Friday – April 3 – Service at Noon
Good Friday – April 3 – Service at 6 PM
Holy Saturday – April 4 – Service at 9 AM – 9:30 AM
The Great Vigil of Easter – April 4 – Eucharistic Service at 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Easter Sunday Breakfast – April 5 – 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM. The Ringmasters handbell choir will play for us! This will be a pot-luck breakfast. Please use the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
Easter Sunday – April 5 – 10:30 AM- Eucharistic service that will include two Baptisms
Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the cloth that had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen wrappings but rolled up in a place by itself. On this second Sunday in the Easter season, we will be celebrating Easter as we had to cancel last Sunday’s service due to weather and illness. Service at the church is at 10:30 a.m. This Sunday we will have the choir singing, and special music throughout to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. We will not have a recorded video service on our Facebook page this week. However, the bulletin for the video service is below. It contains the full liturgy for the day, prayers and complete scripture readings.

We are so sorry, but we are canceling our Easter Sunday Service. Dangerous weather is forecasted starting Saturday evening through early Monday. We want everyone to be safe and sound, so we are canceling our service. Be assured that we will be celebrating Easter the following Sunday, and the special music that was planned for Easter service will be a part of our service on April 7th.

St. John’s welcomes all who may be traveling and away from home to join us in our services. All those who are searching for a church home, please find out what a friendly and warm welcome you will receive at St. John’s.
