Ash Wednesday Service

The service will be held from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.   This service is open to everyone in the community – you do not need to be a member of John’s to come to this service and receive ashes as a part of the service (you also do not have to receive ashes – this is your personal decision). Services for the First Sunday in Lent, February 26, 2023

You are invited to join us this Sunday, the first Sunday in the Lenten Season, February 26th.  The in-person service at 10:30 AM at St. John’s in Williams has been canceled due to the impending snow storm. We have a video recording of the same service and it is posted on our Facebook page.  The full-text of the video service is provided in the link below. You can use this to follow along with Pastor Fox on the video or you may wish to use it for personal study and reflection during the week. It contains complete scripture readings and prayers for the service.

Holy Week Services for 2022

You are invited to attend any or all of our Holy Week Services at St. John’s.

April 14 – Maundy Thursday Service at 7 PM

April 15 – Good Friday Service at Noon

April 17 – Easter Service at 10:30 in-person and we will also have a recorded video service on our Facebook page on Sunday by morning.

St. John’s welcomes all who may be traveling and away from home to join us in our services.  All those who are searching for a church home, please find out what a friendly and warm welcome you will receive at St. John’s.

Third Sunday in Lent 2021 Church Service

For Sunday March 7th, we will worship in-person at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s, and we will also have a recorded video service posted on our Facebook page for those who cannot join us.  We will continue to wear masks and physically distance in order to ensure the safety of all gathered in the sanctuary.

Both services will be conducted by our Pastor, The Rev. Cheryl Fox.  The bulletin for the service is the link below (a PDF file). It contains the hymn lyrics, prayers readings and complete liturgy for this Sunday.
