Then he called the crowd to him and said to them, “Listen and understand: it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles.” — Matthew 15:10
Please join us this Sunday at 10:30 A.M. for our weekly church service with Holy Communion. At St. John’s, all are welcome at the Lord’s Table. Fr. Phil Shaw will lead our service, and this week our Reader for the Lessons is Dindy Harbeson. We will also have special music for our service this week.
We welcome and invite everyone to worship with us at St. John’s. We are located in the heart of Williams, one block south of Historic Route 66. We extend a welcome to visitors to the area and also those who are searching for a new home church. Please explore our website to learn more about us. Stay, if you can, for our coffee hour after the service as this is a good time to get to know us better and to ask us any questions you might have about our unique dual heritage as an Episcopal and ELCA Lutheran church.
If you cannot join us this Sunday, the following link will provide you with the Collect (prayer) of the day and also the four scripture readings that will be a part of our service this Sunday. Proper-15A1 (PDF)
We all look forward to meeting you this Sunday!
